We’re Counting on you
For Design At Work, RGD Ontario invites submissions from R.G.D. and Provisional RGD members whether they own graphic design firms, are employed within a graphic design firm or are employed in a design department within a corporation or institution.
Projects must have been created, conceived or produced between June 30, 2008 and June 1, 2010. An RGD or Provisional RGD must have been the Creative Director, Art Director or Principal Designer on the project.
Self-promotional work is not eligible for
consideration. An actual client, whether
internal or external, must have been
involved.
- Deadline:
Entries, forms and fees must be received
by no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2010.
- Submission Information:
Each entry must be accompanied by a completed entry form, the entry fee, a written description of each project and samples/images. Information may be submitted online at designatwork.ca/10submission.
If a project is submitted in more than one category, separate information and entry fees are required.
- Project Description:
The description must include an
explanation of the client’s goals and the
challenges the designer and client faced
on the project, how the project achieved
these and any known results of the
project’s implementation. It must also
include the approximate design budget
for the project. The description should be submitted in electronic format (MS Word or SimpleText).
Descriptions will be sent to the
judges and are a major factor in the
judging criteria.
- 2 Samples for Print Submisions:
All print submissions must be sent with 2 unmounted proofs, tear sheets or the printed pieces.
- 1 to 4 Images:
Submissions in non-print categories
must be sent with at least 1 but not more
than 4 images/files of the entry in either EPS, TIFF or PDF format. (May be submitted online.)
- Fees:
The entry fee is $90 for one entry, $75
for each additional entry submitted by the same company. (Entries that include a quote from the client receive $15 off.)
- Property of Entries:
All materials that accompany or form part of any entry will not be returned and will become property of RGD Ontario.
